Ball Horticultural Co. acquired the assets and manufacturing facilities of DP Foods and the rights to market the Daniels brand of plant nutrition.
“For many years, Ball has been a proud distributor of Daniels plant food, as it has fit perfectly with our company’s strategy to ‘Grow a Green Future’,” said Bill Doeckel, general manager of Ball Innovations, a business unit of Ball Horticultural Co.
Ball will operate DP Foods from the company’s current headquarters and manufacturing plant in Sherman, Texas, and will retain all its present employees.
