St. Paul, Minn., July 22

• Earth-Kind rose trials with Dr. David Zlesak, assistant professor of horticulture at the University of Wisconsin-River Falls. David will highlight the progress being made in the Northern Earth-Kind Rose Trials and some of the emerging tools that will help identify roses with durable black spot resistance.
• Garden center idea swap: Bring your sales and marketing questions for an hour of swapping ideas. A panel of your peers will start things off with some great insight.
• Ask the experts: Pruning shrubs and more. A panel of experts from Bailey Nurseries’ container facilities will be on hand to answer questions.

Charles City, Iowa, July 15

• New varieties with Debbie Lonnee, planning and administration manager, Bailey Nurseries. Learn about new introductions to spice up landscape designs.
• Silver Creek products: Scott Gengler, Rochester Concrete Products Installation, will discuss cleaning and sealing of Silver Creek pavers with Techniseal products.
