Arysta LifeScience makes personnel moves

The company added Rico Christensen as business unit head for North America and made organizational changes in its BioSolutions and Seed Treatment businesses.


Arysta LifeScience North America announces the addition of Rico Christensen, business unit head, North America. Christensen will have responsibility for all Arysta LifeScience products, partnerships and growing markets in the U.S., Canada, Australia and New Zealand. Christensen begins his duties effective Sept. 1.

Christensen has gained extensive experience in the crop protection industry having spent nearly 20 years at Cheminova. There he served in roles of increasing responsibility, both locally and internationally, including president of Cheminova in North America, as well as leading the company’s global marketing function.

“With an established record of growing businesses, while focusing on company infrastructure and long-term projects, Rico has a demonstrated ability as a top executive, which will add to the depth and focus needed to fulfil the business unit leader role,” said Flavio Prezzi, Chief Operating Officer, Arysta LifeScience.

Arysta LifeScience North America continues to grow their BioSolutions and Seed Treatment businesses, organizational changes have been identified to help strengthen both portfolios.

Royce Schulte will assume a new role as BioSolutions Business Manager. Schulte will focus on development and support of the BioSolutions business and market strategies in the United States, Canada and Australia. In this role, he will work with a cross section of business units including marketing, development and regulatory teams to strengthen the product portfolio. As the current Midwest Regional Sales Manager, Schulte brings his sales and marketing experience to this new role along with his passion to build and grow new business.

As a way to provide additional resources to the Seed Treatment business, Chris Wooley will support these efforts by serving as the Marketing Manager, Seed Treatments. In this role, Wooley will assist in growing the Seed Treatment business in North America while accessing new technologies to continue providing customers top-of-the-line products.
