The USDA’s Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS) is amending the noxious weed regulations by adding Old World climbing fern (Lygodium microphyllum) and maidenhair creeper (Lygodium flexuosum) to the list of terrestrial noxious weeds. This action is necessary to prevent the artificial spread of these noxious weeds into the United States. Consideration will be given to comments received on or before Dec. 18.
