Nominations are due Oct. 1 for the 2020 Western Awards. Interested parties can submit a nomination for the following three awards. The awards will be presented at the 2020 Western Conference and Trade Show, which takes place Jan. 15-17 in Kansas City. Click the links to download the nomination forms for the respective awards.
The Western Legend Award recognizes a lifetime of sustained and significant professional achievement and public service to the Western Nursery & Landscape Association and/or the green industry.
The Western Employee of the Year Award
The Western Employee of the Year Award recognizes an outstanding employee from a Western Nursery & Landscape Association member company.
The Western Emerging Leader Award recognizes outstanding leadership from an emerging professional in the horticulture industry (age 35 and younger). This award was established in 2018.
The Western Nursery & Landscape Association (WNLA) is the trade association for horticulture professionals in Missouri, Kansas, Iowa, Nebraska and Oklahoma. WNLA members represent all specialties within the horticulture industry, including independent retailers, landscape maintenance, landscape contractors, landscape designers, landscape architects, wholesale and greenhouse growers, as well as those in horticulture education and research and students.
