Presented by the Western Nursery and Landscape Association, the National Green Centre is an event that is integrating the industry. Growers, breeders, independent garden centers, landscape contractors, designers, architects, researchers, editors and more can attend an interactive trade show, learn on what they need to run their business, see a fashion of 50 new plants and embrace networking opportunities.
Some other highlights of the event include a beer party, peer-to-peer roundtable discussions, the Horticulture in 2063 panel and Google Plus Hangouts. Select exhibitors will hold “Learning Centers,” a series of 15- to 20-minute presentations, discussions and hands-on demonstrations. There’s also the second annual Summit, a moderated workshop that involves the audience in a discussion of the state of the industry and ways to collaborate and move the industry forward.
The 2013 National Green Centre will be held on Jan. 6-7, 2013, at the America’s Center in St. Louis. For more details on the event, visit www.nationalgreencentre.com.
