Terra Nova Nurseries has announced a sneak peek of its brand new Coleus TERRA NOVA ‘Monkey Puzzle’.
Coleus TERRA NOVA ‘Monkey Puzzle’ is the newest varietal addition to Terra Nova Nurseries’ popular and long-standing Coleus TERRA NOVA series. The peach and purple thread-like foliage of this annual can add a unique pop of color and texture to containers, hanging baskets, mid-height summer borders and mass plantings.
U.S.D.A. Hardiness Zones for Coleus TERRA NOVA ‘Monkey Puzzle’ are 10-11, and its exposure allows for full- and partial-shade. This vigorous annual has a rounded, spreading habit with a height of 14” and width of 20”.
Coleus TERRA NOVA 'Monkey Puzzle' performs best in well-drained soil with a moderate organic content. This annual requires average watering in the garden, and its soil should be dried moderately between waterings.
Terra Nova Nurseries has created a “Plant Profile” page and “Grower Recipe” specific to this new variety so growers interested in orders can learn about growing habits, plant characteristics, fertilization recommendations, water requirements, and other insights provided by the breeding team. These documents can be viewed and downloaded for printing here. Growers can contact their Terra Nova Nurseries representatives or email the sales team at sales@terranovanurseries.com.
