AzaSol from Arborjet is the first water-soluble powdered azadirachtin product. It’s also solvent free and shelf stable for more than two years. By mixing AzaSol with water at the time of application, the solubility allows for superior flow, absorption and utilization by plants, and because it is biologically based can be applied the day of harvest. The 6 percent solution offers the highest concentration available on the market. It’s intended for use on outdoor plants, food crops, mushroom houses, plants grown indoors or in greenhouses, shade cloth, interiorscapes and nurseries. Biocontainers
CarbonLite biocontainers from Jiffy Products of America Inc. are made primarily from plant starches. They are produced with significantly less energy and almost zero petroleum-based inputs. Mechanical earth drill
Little Beaver’s line of MDL mechanical earth drills offers a safe and productive solution for one-man hole digging applications. Featuring a 360-RPM operating speed, the drills are faster and produce cleaner holes than similar competitive units, while the compact design allows access to areas unreachable by skid steer-mounted augers. A universal auger is included and offers the ability to easily change out tips depending on surface type. Included standard is a hard-faced tip. An optional heavy-duty rock tip or carbide-blade tip is available. Snap-on augers are offered in 36- and 42-inch lengths, with diameters ranging from 1.5- to 16-inches.
