Name: Aloe ‘Delta Lights.’Description: ‘Delta Lights’ is a brightly variegated plant that features an eye-catching zigzag foliage pattern. It was created by breeder Kelly Griffin exclusively for Rancho Tissue Technologies. Habit: This hybrid aloe grows up to 18 inches tall by 24 inches wide. Attributes: ‘Delta Lights’ is suitable for indoor or outdoor use. It’s drought tolerant, and grows best in 8-inch pots. It’s a tough selection that tolerates full sun and occasional irrigation, according to San Marcos Growers, which also found full morning sun is best to bring out the color yet protect it from leaf burn. Hardiness: USDA Hardiness Zones 8-11. For more: Rancho Tissue Technologies, www.ranchotissue.com. |
