Growing mixes
Oldcastle Lawn & Garden has a new line of Jolly Gardener Pro-Line soilless growing mixes for commercial growers. There are four standard mixes, two for greenhouse and two for nursery. Pro-Line 21G is a medium-textured bark-based greenhouse mix made with processed pine bark fines, Canadian sphagnum peat and horticultural perlite and includes a starter fertilizer charge and wetting agent. Pro-Line 22G is a lightweight peat-based greenhouse mix made with Canadian sphagnum peat, processed pine bark fines and horticultural perlite with a starter charge and wetting agent. Proline 44N is a basic nursery mix consisting of processed pine bark fines and Canadian sphagnum peat and contains a starter fertilizer. The well-draining and aerated Tree Grower’s Mix consists of pine bark fines and composts with a starter fertilizer charge. All of the mixes are available in 2.8 cubic foot bags, supersacks and bulk.
