Name: Rosa 'Princess Alexandra of Kent'
Description: 'Princess Alexandra of Kent' has unusually large flowers of a warm, glowing pink. The full petals are deeply cupped, and the ring of soft pink outer petals enclose the warm pink inner petals.
Habit: A well-rounded shrub that grows to 3½ feet high and 2½ feet wide.
Landscape use: Use in the landscape or in containers. Plant in groups of three for a striking scene.
Hardiness: USDA Hardiness Zones 5-9.
Interesting attribute: Its fresh tea fragrance changes to lemon with age and eventually takes on additional hints of blackcurrant.
History: It's named for Princess Alexandra, a cousin of Queen Elizabeth II, who is a keen gardener and a great lover of roses.
