Common Name: Bee balm
Description: This mid-sized selection of bee balm produces medium-pink flowers from mid-summer to early fall. Unlike most varieties, this one flowers on the first year’s cuttings. It grows 16 inches tall with a spread of 12-15 inches.
Hardiness: USDA Hardiness Zones 4-9.
In the landscape: Grow in full sun to part shade. Use in cottage gardens, along borders or in containers.
Attributes: Native to eastern North America. Deer resistant. Attracts hummingbirds and butterflies. When crushed, foliage smells like mint.
