Common name: Snowdrop windflower
Description: In late spring, this perennial features cup-shaped white flowers with yellow centers above low-mounding foliage. A. sylvestris spreads quickly and grows up to 18 inches wide, making it a good candidate for a groundcover.
Hardiness: USDA Hardiness Zones 4-8
Landscape uses: Grows best in partial shade, but tolerates full shade. Use in a naturalized, woodland garden. Be aware: some sources labeled this perennial as aggressive.
Attributes: Deer resistant.
