Common name: Bluebeard
Description: Compact, low-maintenance shrub with deep blue flowers that last from late summer to early fall. Abundant inflorescences appear along the side of the plant, which enhances the entire floral effect. Foliage is dark green.
Hardiness: USDA Hardiness Zone 5-9.
Habit: Low-mounded shrub that grows up to 2 feet high and 3 feet wide.
Attributes: Attracts butterflies, deer resistant and drought tolerant. Use blooms as cut flowers.
Landscape use: Mass planting, mixed into a perennial border or as an accent plant.
