BrazelBerries Collection
Fall Creek Farm & Nursery Inc. has unveiled its new BrazelBerries Collection of small ornamental fruit shrubs. “BrazelBerries is an exciting new venture for us - bringing a collection of new varieties targeted specifically to the home garden market,” said Amelie Brazelton Aust, new products manager and a second-generation owner of Fall Creek. “BrazelBerries are literally the perfect plant – they offer beauty in your patio or landscape, giving purpose to the space by allowing everyone the opportunity to have their home-grown, healthy berry lifestyle.”
Initial quantities will be available in 2013 to independent garden centers exclusively through an established network of wholesale growers. The growers will offer retail-ready two-gallon BrazelBerries plants in a branded container accompanied with an informative color tag.

Hardy Jewels coreopsis
Coreopsis ‘Pink Sapphire’ and ‘Desert Coral’ have been added to Terra Nova Nurseries’ Hardy Jewels Series. Both plants are garden gems and offer jewel-toned flowers of a large size. ‘Pink Sapphire’ has stunning, hot-pink flowers with white eyes. A low-growing, upright plant, ‘Pink Sapphire’ blooms for five months out of the year. Additionally, ‘Pink Sapphire’ is a hardy coreopsis variety. This coreopsis performs well in USDA Hardiness Zones 6-9. It’s a self-cleaning plant, making it ideal for mixed beds, containers and borders.
‘Desert Coral’ has large flowers of sun-tanned peach and coral that bloom for several months. The old flowers are covered so quickly, the plant doesn’t have a rest period during the summer and fall months. ‘Desert Coral’ can be used in mixed beds, containers and borders. It is hardy in Zones 6-9 and requires full sun for optimal growth.
