Q. Can nurseries and greenhouses be tourist destinations? A. Certainly. The Connecticut Nursery and Landscape Association and the Connecticut Greenhouse Growers Association have successfully implemented a tourism program. The Connecticut Garden & Landscape Trail guides visitors of all ages to the beautiful facilities of our state’s green industry, including nurseries, garden centers, greenhouses and landscapers. Admission to the sites along the trail is typically free, and there are special events along the trail. Bob Heffernan, Connecticut Nursery & Landscape Association
