What is Mainspring Xtra insecticide and how is it different from Mainspring GNL?
Mainspring Xtra insecticide is a recent innovation from Syngenta for broad-spectrum control of chewing, sucking and soil-dwelling insects in greenhouses, nurseries and ornamental landscapes. It’s powered by two modes of action containing the same amount of active ingredient as Mainspring GNL, cyantraniliprole, for residual control of thrips, aphids and caterpillars, along with thiamethoxam for fast knockdown of insects like whiteflies and leafminers.


What is the Thiamethoxam Vigor Effect?
In addition to faster acting insect control, thiamethoxam has been shown to promote plant vigor by enhancing root mass, stem strength and greenness to improve overall crop quality. Thiamethoxam is systemic, and once it spreads into plant cells, it triggers the creation of proteins that boost plant defenses and growth.

Mainspring Xtra has flexible use recommendations and can be applied as a foliar spray, soil drench, cold fog or application via micro-irrigation systems (chemigation).
