The Turf and Ornamentals business of Bayer has announced they are welcoming nursery and ornamentals expert Jane Stanley as the newest member of its U.S. Green Solutions Team. In this role, she is responsible for providing scientific support and technical expertise to growers. Stanley brings more than 10 years of technical experience in the ornamentals industry.
“A knowledgeable and enthusiastic expert, Stanley is the perfect addition to our Green Solutions Team,” said Will MacMurdo, head of commercial operations for the U.S. Turf and Ornamentals business. “She has valuable, hands-on experience in different areas of the ornamentals industry and a proven track record for bringing innovative solutions to solve a range of problems. We look forward to seeing her provide best-in-class technical expertise to our grower customers across the country.”
Most recently, Stanley served in a range of leadership roles at Saunders Brothers, a wholesale nursery in Virginia, where she implemented key strategies to improve business operations. Stanley earned her master’s degree in horticulture science at Pennsylvania State University. She lives in Virginia with her husband, Wes, and their two sons. Outside of work, they enjoy staying active and healthy by running and hiking.
“I am thrilled to join the industry-leading Green Solutions Team and look forward to helping greenhouse and nursery growers achieve their best crops,” said Stanley. “I am passionate about leveraging science and experience to solve grower challenges, and I cannot wait to get started.”
