National Garden Bureau elects new directors for 2015-2017

NGB members selected four new directors to the board during a conference in Florida.

DOWNERS GROVE, IL – National Garden Bureau (NGB), the non-profit organization promoting gardening on behalf of the horticulture industry, met recently during the ASTA Flower & Vegetable Seed Conference in Florida to plan future activities. At that time, NGB members elected four new directors to the board.

The new directors are:

Mike Connelly, American Takii
Tim Hodson, Scranton Gillette Communications
Rebecca Lusk, The Dümmen Group
Jeanne Svob, SHS Griffin

National Garden Bureau also announced that Mike Connelly of American Takii was recently elected to serve as treasurer.

“In today’s digital age, we have a unique opportunity to use technology and social media to create relationships and build consumer knowledge and enthusiasm around plant use and gardening. I look forward to leading National Garden Bureau’s Board of Directors in bringing that excitement to homes in North America,” says Claire Watson, current National Garden Bureau president.
