Marc Radsma joins Skagit Horticulture as the internal sales lead for the Mount Vernon, Wash.-based grower's liner program. Marc will manage Skagit's broker relationships in the West, and will provide external support to the company's broker partners. As an addition to Skagit's field sales support team, he brings the members to three, covering the nation at a service level previously unmatched.
After working in horticulture for 24 years, he has experience in almost all aspects of the industry, most recently spending nine years selling for Monrovia in Upstate New York and Ontario, Canada. Radsma, his wife, Christine, and their five children, reside in Idaho, and will be relocating to our area this summer.
Last year, Northwest Horticulture and Skagit Gardens merged into Skagit Horticulture. For now, it is business as usual for customers: order young plants from either Skagit Gardens or Northwest Horticulture. The Skagit Horticulture young plant program will have a simplified pricing structure and will include a mix of varieties focusing on tissue culture selections and premium new introductions. The company will continue to grow a strong speculative mix, a broad “can do” list, as well as work closely with customers on large-volume and custom-grow orders.
